The Mind - How To Visualize To Realize Your Dreams

For instance, cancer patients who were only given placebos, just plain pills that have no tangible healing capabilities, miraculously and completely eradicated all signs of the disease.
So how did they get well?
The healing power came from their thoughts, what they believed. They were told that the pills contained the highest amounts of cancer-fighting agents known to man, which would effectively cure them in a matter of days. And blah-dam... Cured, in a matter of days!!!
That is literally how powerful your mind is?
They truly believed that their health would be restored. Consequently registering in their minds a concept that the pills would indeed cure them of their illness. In the process, their desire coupled with their belief embedded in their subconscious, therefore becoming their reality.
So how can you use your mind to achieve your dreams, what you most desire? What I have discovered to be one of the most effective means is to use the "as if" principle.
Operate as if you are the person you want to be, acting as if you are the person you will become. Or if it is a material possession, exist 'as if' you are already in ownership of whatever you long to have. This has been working for me my entire life, with the women I desired, with the opportunities I wanted to see show up and with the financial security I felt I wanted or needed at any given time.
The Big Question...
What do you want to be, who do you want to become? Do you want to be a lawyer, doctor, professional athlete, or newscaster? You must think, act, and feel like one. You'll be much closer to your goal if you're constantly in concert with your objective. Be passionate about and 'with' your dreams, develop a magnificent obsession.
A Superman or Wonder Woman to be...
It's not enough that you act the part, but you have to actually ACT. Do what needs to be done. Formulate and initiate an action plan, a plan of attack to make manifest your desires. Allow your vision to encourage and motivate you to actualize your purpose, design, define and align yourself with your objectives. Then, act on them.
The biggest obstacle to achievement is that people of the modern age are too preoccupied with worry, anxiety and negativity. And as a result, they are adversely affecting their state of health and their state of well 'being'.
Self deception has become so prevalent nowadays in order to ease the burden of reality. Prescribed pharmaceuticals have become the norm and accountability has practically all but disappeared. Sad!
Once upon a time...
There was once a hopeful young weightlifter, which for all his efforts couldn't lift more than 300 lbs. So his coach devised a clever scheme to get him to break that barrier...by telling him that the barbell full of weights, weighed only 300 and because he trusted his coach, he believed it to be true. With all his might and mind, the weightlifter managed to complete the lift and after he set it down, the coach slickly told him that he had just indeed lifted 350 and not 300! Well, that coach is me and I use that particular motivational 'psyche' method daily, it truly works and is quite effective. Proof, it's all in the mind!
What you think, invariable 'becomes' you or you become what you think.
If you think you are poor, then you are! Unless you properly condition your thoughts to be in alignment with a positive mind set, you are what your state of mind believes you are. I know it's difficult to think 'rich' if your environment is not overly conducive to such a way of thinking. And if you are unclear as to how to 'think' otherwise, well... Use your

imagination! Visualize your house, as a mansion, your old beat up car to be a Lamborghini, maybe a Lexus or possibly your job to be exciting and exhilarating, know what I'm saying?
There is absolutely no limit to what you can achieve, if you put your mind to it. But you have to combine belief, with intention, desire, and action, then marry them to positive thinking...if you want to arrive at your intended destination.
Visualization, the act and practice of...
So, you ask... How exactly do I 'visualize' the things I want? Well here is an idea that may work for you. I do this virtually every morning, tired or not.
In a seated position extend your arms with your hands open, facing upward. Stretch your fingers as far apart and backward as you can. Then relax. Close your eyes, take a deep breath and exhale. Take another deep breath and exhale again. Do this several times until your body is thoroughly in a state of blissful tranquility. With your eyes still closed 'see' what it is that you want. If it's a new car, visualize the car that you want. See the make, color and year that you desire... Really, see it! Clearly in your mind, be there. Smell that fine 'Corinthian Leather', the in-dash DVD/CD player, the navigation system...four on the floor. See yourself driving this car to the beach, to the mountains or around town - whatever strikes your fancy. See your family and friends admiring your car. Visualize them riding with you, enjoying the ride and the good company. Feel the wind in your face, sweeping through your hair. Hear the music playing... "Ticket to ride", from the Beatles...can you hear it? Make this visualization as real as you can. Feel the security and safety you enjoy in your new car. Feel the joy of knowing this is your car and most importantly... Know that this is your car, bring this visualization inside you and recognize the emotional and physical change that has taken place in your mind and body.
Keep your eyes shut and your hands open. Draw this image into your body through your left hand. Fill your heart with your visualization. See exactly what you saw only moments earlier, only now, that image is thoroughly branded into your heart, can you feel it? See you're new car or job or whatever you want in as much detail as possible. See it. Feel it. Smell it. Touch it. Taste it. Hear it. Love it. Vividly experience your 'hearts' desire.
Enjoy this vision that you have created for prolonged periods of time. A minute, an hour, whatever you want. This is your dream take the time to enjoy it. The stronger this vision is, the greater the possibility that you will call it into being. Lastly, here's the secret that will totally empower your dream, your vision. After you have visualized what you want and have drawn that visualization into your heart and into your 'being', execute one more vital component. Transmit your dream to the world. Using your right hand as a communication disc, project the energy of your visualization out into your physical reality. This broadcast, this literal proclamation of your desire allows the Universe to go to work on it immediately. It's like a UPS or Fed-EX overnight delivery, a rush order request. Sounds cool, doesn't it? It is! And it really does work, believe me.
Practice this exercise daily and if you want to 'seal the deal', write down all the specific details, as 'vividly' as you see them. Visualization is an extraordinary, almost magically powerful tool. Use it and soon you will...
