We are being processed and sometimes we get confused about what process is and what the purpose of it is. The only way we will develop into what He called us to be is through process. We are Processed for Development and the scripture reference God gave me for this study is Job 23:8-10 "8 Behold, I go forward, but he is not there; and backward, but I cannot perceive him: 9 On the left hand, where he doth work, but I cannot behold him: he hideth himself on the right hand, that I cannot see him: 10 But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me (Processed), I shall come forth as gold. (Developed)
Process is - 2 a (1) : a natural phenomenon marked by gradual changes that lead toward a particular result (2) : a natural continuing activity or function b : a series of actions or operations conducing to an end;
Development is 1 a : to set forth or make clear by degrees or in detail; to make visible or manifest: to subject (exposed photograph material) especially to chemicals in order to produce a visible image (1) : to make available or usable c : to move (as a chess piece) from the original position to one providing more opportunity for effective use 4:to cause to unfold gradually b to expand by a process of growth 2to become gradually manifest 3 : to come into being
God gave me this revelation. When you take film to be developed, you give the negatives to the technician. Your negatives are processed by putting them in different chemicals until they reach a point that they can be put on photo paper and whatever was on the negative can then be seen by the natural eye in its finished state. As a negative its very small and the colors are inverted, etc. you could only see what it is by holding it up to light (Jesus) and you cant yet see it the way you saw it in the camera (through Gods eyes) or the way it will look when it is developed until it is put in the different chemicals (trials, afflictions, etc) that will cause the negative to develop into a picture. What is between the negative and the developed picture is called the process. You will never get a picture from a negative unless you process it. A process is what is done to produce a specific result. Development is the result. Once something is developed it can then be seen or used or effective, etc. Anything underdeveloped is no good.
I asked the Lord why sometimes we keep finding ourselves in this death process. He said "unless you be dead to sin you cant be alive in Me." The death process is very painful. Physically and emotionally. Look at Jesus. When he went through the death process it hurt him to a point that he thought God had forsaken him. Its a process that is almost incomprehensible. But what
developed from his process was everlasting life for all of us.
Sometimes our dying is not even for us. He was honest, he said God if I dont really have to do this then get me out of it but nevertheless not my will but yours be done. From that point on he put it in Gods hands and decided since God didnt get him out of the situation then it must be necessary, so he did what he had to do to please his father. He endured everything up until the point where it was unbearable and thats when he cried out to God but it was at that point that he died (he wont put more on us that we can bear) and immediately, the veil was torn and the dead began to rise, etc. God said to stop looking at the process and look at the development that will come out of the process. We fight the death process so hard because we keep thinking that the pain is going to kill us and he has to keep reminding us that yes it is going to kill us but its supposed to. He said there are souls assigned to each of our deaths (process) that cannot come out of their "graves" until we die. (development) But process is continuous. We must die daily, because everyday we dont kill it, our flesh will grow stronger and as long as our flesh is alive we are underdeveloped and in that state he cant use us. When we allow ourselves to die (our flesh) then God can use us in our death to cause life in others.
